It's so odd now. Before I would be able to make any kind of appointment, and I wouldn't have to tell or ask D anything. I'll just do it. Now, I had to ask him if it's okay for me to get a haircut. My how things changed. Asking permission to do something. Or maybe it's not asking for permission... but just making sure the kid is going to be looked after.
