Decent Nights Rest

I had such a huge headache last nite. So when the baby didn't want to go to sleep right after his 10pm feeding.. I was so frustrated. D couldn't help because he was going to wake up at 5am. I really can't wait til D is done with school. August cannot come soon enough. It's tough to be with the kid 24/7 and not have anyone relieve my duty... although D does try to take some time to alleviate my duties..

So because the kiddo was just moving around and not calming down. I decided to go back to the swaddle. I swaddled him and put him back in the pack 'n play with a pacifier. I know he was still awake but wasn't crying and I laid back down on the couch to wait. I fell asleep and woke up at 4am. The kid actually skipped his 1am feeding!! He had slowly creeped his arms out of the swaddle. I was amazed that he was still asleep.

I took the chance to do a pumping session. And of course, the kiddo woke up. I placed him in his swing and he went back to sleep. whew.

I changed the kiddo's diaper (bc I didn't want to clean up dry poop in the morning). I reswaddled him up and placed him back into the pack 'n play. And I waited fifteen minutes to see if he would wake up and demand a bottle.

15 minutes later.. nothing. wow!!

It wasn't until 7am that he woke up!

YAY!

Let's see if he can repeat this tonite.
