Mom and Pop Shops

I love small family owned companies. The people that work there are just so friendly. I had to wait a bit to pick up some things...and while I was waiting the girl at the front was making small talk. But, there was something different with her small talk. It was genuine. I almost felt like I could tell my whole life story to her and she would be interested and again very genuine.

It was also so sweet to get a nice compliment from the guy that helped me out with my things. He reminded me alot of Vincent.

I had a very nice day off. *insert satisfied grin*

I was able to run 7 miles today... but I dunno. I can't fathom the idea of spending 2+hrs at the gym to run more than 7+miles. I wonder if its better if I run that many miles outside. I just hate the idea of running in smog-polluted L.A.
