Bethrothal Letter

I promised myself that I would post up my bethrothal letter that I wrote for Dan from our engaged encounter retreat so that I could remember it and really live up to it. So here it is:

Because I love you, I plan to work on deepening our relationship between now and our wedding day by being more vocal and answer the "why's" as best I can. To open up more often and try to lessen your frustration when I can't quickly express what is bothering me. Your strength is important to me in the areas of prompting me to answer those much needed questions. To gently probe me further. Being supportive and patient.

I plan to be more respectful of you and your feelings. To give you that nurturing environment to allow you to also be open with your opinions. To allow you to vent and give you the type of environment you need to grow.

I plan to be the person that has your back and the person you go to when you need support or advice or just a person to listen without judgement. I hope that I am always that person you can lean on and laugh with who you can share all your dreams with. As I will try to be the person who feels that I can always come to you with my abnormally correct grammar and speaking skills.
