how funny it is

this was one email that i needed to hear:

give them time. my dad was BIG on the prenup thing but instead of me fighting him on it all the time, i just let him and nik get to know each other and once he liked him, he dropped it himself. it took me almost a year and a half to get my dad on my side so hopefully it will be better with your folks. just keep solidifying your relationship, nik only put up with it cuz he knew i was going to defend him to the end so that way it didnt interfere in our relationship

things feel alot more clearer.

before a couple of weeks ago.. i didn't see that how i was acting was being perceived as 'i'm not standing up for dan'. i get it now.
