ridiculous request

Y: My future mother-in-law tells me that I have to give up diving once I get married.

Lucy: *shocked expression* What? What's it to her if you keep diving?

Y: She thinks its too dangerous.

What kind of request is that? The worse part is that it seemed like she was going to stop diving because her mother-in-law said that to her. Now that's insane. INSANE!!!!
