Fireworks

No fireworks for me this 4th of July... unless I consider Friday's display part of some fireworks that I don't want to witness again.

I did request to have the next holiday (Labor Day) off. Hopefully something will actually be happening on that day.

I made my round of phone calls and text messaging of holiday wishes on the way to work. I swallowed a bit of my pride and called home. No answer. Left a message saying I hope they're having a nice time. Sorry about last Friday. And hopefully we could talk it over another day. I don't know if I'll have a call back... but at least I put a non-threatening hand out there and giving it some effort.

I still don't know what my next move will be.
