Welcome to Miami!!!

It was a weekend that I was looking forward to when I first got the email that we were going to celebrate T's Bachelorette Party.
I was looking forward to getting away with the gals that I haven't seen since last year. I was looking forward to getting my massage on.
I took the red-eye out of LAX... red eyes aren't so bad especially when its a direct flight. BUT! It was a full flight. And the ppl next to me were talkers. The ppl behind me were also talkers too. I was able to sleep but I would go in and out of conscienceness... due to the talking, due to the BRIGHT TV screen, due to turbulence, due to just being on a plane.
The other girls were already checked in since they got in the day earlier. I thought we would start off the day early...but they had a rough nite too. I guess our previous room was next to a rowdy group. When R even told them to keep it down, they replied back to her 'Yes, Ma'am'... which shocked her to be refered to as a "ma'am". So, since they were tired.. I donned my pjs and crept into bed.
We woke up to get something to eat and head off to the spa. It felt so good. I love the steam room!! The masseuse was good.
We then met up with H and L who just arrived and had dinner and start our nite off.
I won't get into details..but after a few shots and a HUGE mojito and martini... I was drunk. I have in and out memories of things. I didn't even remember that I put myself to bed!!
So, the next day the girls gave me a break...but they continued on with the party.
The weather in Miami wasn't great. It would rain on and off... so we did some shopping and pretty much stayed at TGI Friday's. We basically watched Miami life go by on Ocean Drive. We then just had dinner and a very mellow nite.
It was just refreshing to know that my life isn't very different from their life. And its nice to pick up where we left off and feeling like we haven't changed at all... although we are alot more mellow then the days back in school.
And it was just my luck that when I leave for the airport... the weather got a bit better for the other gals.
Ahh.. I can't wait for the wedding in a couple of weeks. :)
