It's Not The Same

I've always liked Christmas.

I think I liked it more when I was in school and I had like three weeks off... a few days before Christmas to actually do the gift shopping.. a few days after Christmas to relax and get ready for New Year's Eve. And then a few days after New Year's Day. That was the life.

Now it's like.. I'm lucky to get Christmas Eve AND Christmas Day off. This year.. I was fortunate. But I had to go to work the Day-After-Christmas.

Its heart-wrenching to see what's going on with my family. I think the best Christmas was when the whole family with nephews and neices were around. Now it's just two out of the four kids. *sigh* I did have a good time.. but there's just loved ones missing.
