Voices

Everyone and their mom probably hates the sound of their own voice.

I hate my own.

But I heard the same compliment on my voice by two different ppl. It's a nice compliment (even though I know better and I'm definitely not going to get a BIG head from hearing it)

I just found it strange.

I'm okay with ppl telling me I sound like a lil kid. I even get telemarketers asking me to speak to my Mommy or Daddy.

So being told that my voice is sweet and calming (yeup. those same exact words by two ppl who definitely don't know each other) is a shocker.

oh. Another shocker was to get a compliment on my @ss. But, a photograph can be so very manipulate with the right pose, right lighting, right angle... anything is possible.

My marathon buddy David so graciously told me that he wasn't going to be doing the LA marathon with me. SO! As of this moment, the only support I'll be getting from start to finish is from me....and I don't think I can manage that especially right now. *sigh* So now, even though I have already registered, semi-half @ssed trained for it, made hotel reservations, and asked for the day off...I'm debating whether I have it in me to do this on my own.

Darn. That UCLA-USC basketball game would have been such a great game to watch.. oh well.
