National Body Challenge
After a holiday filled with gorging on foods... I gained a couple of pounds. boo. And its hard to focus on losing weight and kinda know in the back of my head that we're trying to get pregnant. It's like feeling... well, i'm going to get pregnant and gain weight... why even try to lose weight. But then the other part of me is thinking what if i never get pregnant.. then i'm stuck with this extra weight.
I go back and forth... and I decided to sign up for the Discovery Channel's National Body Challenge.
I really don't like the format they have for their 'My Meals'. It's not the easiest thing to figure out. What they should have is a tab for 'Shopping List for This Week'.. makes it simplier to know what I should buy at the grocery store. Make the list easy to use so you're not wasting food... for instance, a snack one day will be grapes and cheese... well, since I already bought a bunch of grapes and cheese... there should be another day of the week that has the same snack or maybe incorporate those ingredients into another meal... you know. So, I'm not totally going on their meal plan...or at least I'll try to mimic what they have into my own version.
I do like their 'My Fitness'. It has videos for me to follow. So that's good. I'll probably stick by that. But, it's always hard to follow a daily routine.
So this challenge is like 8 weeks (or 56 days).... let's see how far I go with this one.
Because my last fitness craze was training for a marathon... and when Daylight Savings hit.. that plan went out the window. I can't wait til the next daylight savings time.. I like more light.
