Wedding in Paradise

Got back from Chris' Wedding in St. Johns... travelling there was such a bitch. We had so many delays through Miami... Miami has just become my least favorite place to travel through. The weather was SO hot and humid in the Virgin Islands. I became mosquito bait.. I literally have about 17 bites all over my body. I'm still itchy and I believe I may have carried a few mosquitoes in my bags. I have to be honest... I definitely saw alot of the good and bad of the Virgin Islands. I kinda think that the islands do have much more to offer and explore. Maybe after I've seen other places... I might travel back to the Virgin Islands to see what I didn't see. I definitely have opinions about this place for anyone who wants to travel there. Things I found out about it...

* Drive on the left side
* You can drink and drive... convenience stores offer single can beers to buy.
* The natives aren't so friendly
* Be aware that you might be taken advantage of... haggle the prices if you can.
* Bring lots of bug spray
* Wear unscented perfumes, shampoos, etc.

The beaches are beautiful. I love the soft sand, the clear blue water, the temperatures of the waters are just right. Perfect place to go snorkeling. That's probably the one thing that would bring me back. And I would definitely go back when it wasn't summer time there... I don't want to be bug meat.

It was definitely an experience and I had a wonderful time catching up with friends and seeing my friend get married.
