Coming Home From Work

Drive into the garage.

Unlock the front door.

Turn on the kitchen lights.

Sort through mail.... Mom wakes up from sleeping on the couch.

Mom: (in untrusting voice) what time did you go to work to be coming home so late?

Trang: (in irritated voice) at 230pm.

Walks out. Turns off kitchen lights.


Working at the hospital makes me have odd hours. Coming home at 1130pm is not an unusually late time. This is not the first time I get home at this time. I think she should know this by now.
