First Cuts
It's always hard to let someone know that they didn't get a job. But, we had to do it.
Our first cuts were Nikki and Mauricio.
With Nikki, although I liked how she said she would take $200 for herself and the rest of our money would be for materials on the room.... She didn't have too much experience with interior decorating. Lots of costume designing experience. Also, I think we would have to figure out who to help with installing lighting fixtures and painting and being crafty... so she was cut.
With Mauricio... his personality just didn't mesh well with ours. He had a major fixation with the chandelier. We wanted ceiling fan. He wanted an amazing chandelier... which is fine but he doesn't live in this room during summers. It just seemed like our ideas for the room didn't fit in with his vision. So, he had to go.
